Two New Congress Centres Coming to Prague

Cubex Centre Prague


Located in the popular Prague 4 business district, Cubex can host events up to 1,200 people. Its main hall can host 1,000 people theatre style and is complemented by smaller lounges and halls. Technology-wise the centre is ready, and even offers a unique concept called Chameleon which allows for your own colour choice projected on the walls and ceiling.


The architectural look pays homage to Czech cubism and features unique bars and registration areas, custom made glasses and other cubist elements incorporated into catering and the décor. Other pluses include a shopping centre next door and the location is only two metro stops from the centre of Prague.


O2 Universum


Cubex opened on 20 June, but an even bigger congress hall will be opening in the summer of 2019. O2 Universum will have a capacity of 10,000 which jumps to 28,000 when combined with the adjacent and existing O2 Arena in Prague 9. The multifunctional space will have 21 halls of varying size, spread over 50,000 sqm. A unique element of O2 Universum is that on each of the four floors there will be 13,000 sqm available for exhibitions and commercial use. The location is convenient, being only 10 minutes from Prague’s city centre and 30 minutes from the airport.
